Who’s behind GetawayWeddings.com?
Meet Andrea Rotondo Hospidor and John C. Rotondo. This brother/sister
team founded the company after planning their respective nuptials.
Andrea married her husband in an intimate destination wedding celebration
in 1994. John wed his bride at an extravagant ceremony at Walt Disney
World.

and wedding expert Andrea Rotondo Hospidor is a long-time member
of the Association of Bridal Consultants and is the author of
I’m Getting Married. Now What?! (Silver Lining Books).
Andrea has been writing about the destination wedding travel
trend for the past ten years. Her work has appeared in many
magazines including Modern Bride, Bride Again,
American Baby, and Yahoo! Internet Life. In addition,
Andrea was a Contributing Editor for Birnbaum’s Official
Guides to Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2001. As a destination-wedding

USA Today, and many other media outlets. She is on the
Advisory Council for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings department. |

Rotondo, Co-founder and Chief Technical Officer

is a multimedia designer delivering professional presentations
for print, Internet, and CD-ROM. His advertisement design
work has appeared in notable magazines such as Guitar
Player,
Guitar World, and Electronic Musician. With a
strong background in web development, and having planned a
destination wedding himself, John has a unique perspective
on the design, implementation, and execution of multimedia
products for those interested in far and away nuptials. |
