Harley lovers can gear up for the ride of their life as they affirm, or reaffirm their vows, decked in biker wedding garb on their prized Harleys at Orlando Harley-Davidson’s perfectly recreated 1903 "Shack" — the historic birthplace of Harley. Couples will be in "Hog Heaven" as they exchange vows or renew them — biker style — in a re-creation of the legendary shrine where Harley was founded.
"Harley is more than a motorcycle. It is a total way of life to its millions of enthusiasts worldwide," said Anne Deli, who co-owns the Orlando-based dealership with husband Steve. "Harley riders and wannabes live and breathe Harley-Davidson. Getting married at "The Shack" is another way for them to reaffirm their bond with Harley."
Special Harley wedding elements include bride and groom arrivals on new Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Harley wedding leathers and cowboy hats, bridal bouquets of bright orange "Harley" roses in motorcycle grip holders, Harley-themed wedding cakes feature his and her miniature Harley’s made completely out of sugar and Harley-Davidson wedding rings. As part of the ceremony, couples will enter the "Shack" — filled with classic Harley-Davidson memorabilia — and sign a custom-made Orlando Harley Wedding leather guest book.
A professional wedding coordinator will handle all the unique arrangements including: temporary tattoos for the guests, professional rides on Harley’s on the on-site regulation training track during the reception, gourmet barbecue catering, entertainment from biker bands to country western and classic rock ‘n roll, and motorcycle themed invitations. Reception décor can range from shiny black and orange patent leather tablecloths and gleaming chrome centerpieces to classic denim, lace, and leather effects. The newlywed’s names will also be inscribed on the Orlando Harley-Davidson "Wall of Honor."
Harley lovers of all ages can reaffirm their love for each other and their Harleys with specially designed vow renewal packages. The "Anniversary Ride" package includes a leather-clad officiant to perform the ceremony, a bouquet, and a Harley-themed anniversary cake.
